Founded by Jeanne Moreau and the 'Premiers Plans Festival' in July 2005, Les Ateliers d'Angers is aimed at young French-speaking filmmakers who have one or more short films to their credit and are preparing to make their first feature film. 7 projects are selected. From 2022, the workshops change period and will take place during the 'Premiers Plans Festival', from January 22 to 30.


Thanks to the help of experienced professionals, the 7 directors have 5 days to perfect their artistic project through practical lessons linked to the financial and technical conditions of the first films. The emphasis is on the script, the staging, the editing, the direction of actors, the production or the music, according to the profile of the speakers present.

In 2021 the Biennale College Cinema has launched its 10th edition with the two calls for applications aimed at Italian and International teams composed of a director and a producer.


TFL Next

TFL Next - Film is an intensive, online film development workshop addressed to international professionals who want to move forward with their feature film projects. The two workshops are each divided into 2 sessions: first session between March and April, second session between May and June.

EKRAN+ is a 22-day project based professional training programme, primarily designed for directors/writer-directors, and focusing on the vision of their future film. Their vision is elaborated through the combination of three major elements: the script, the audiovisual components and the collaboration with the other professionals involved in the shooting of the film.


EKRAN+ focuses participants on exploring, identifying and refining the tone and visual language of film. EKRAN+ aims to advance participants’ treatments/scripts and produce two scenes from each script/ treatment.


Every participating project is represented by a Creative Team consisting of a director (or writer/director), a writer (or co-writer), a director of photography and producer.


The MFI Script 2 Film Workshops, is an advanced script and project development program. Its primary objective is to fully develop the participating screenplays through a process of workshops that focus on script analysis, revision and rewriting. Special attention is given to developing each separate project’s potential, while guiding participating writers and producers to strongly connect with international audiences and industry professionals.


Filmpact aims to expand impact work in Flanders together with the filmmakers and many other organisations. Over the next 3 years we will offer training courses and we will work out an impact trajectory for a series of Flemish (documentary) films.
